Community Guidelines

Last updated:

HopeCore is a warm place, and we keep it that way together. These guidelines explain what we value, what you won’t find here and what to do if something goes wrong.

What this place is

HopeCore is a space for bright emotions. We want people to feel relief, not anxiety, when they open the app. That is why our rules are stricter than on other networks, and we are not shy about it.

What we value

What you won’t find here

We don’t publish negative content either, even when it breaks no law. A post with sad news may be perfectly honest, but it doesn’t belong here.

Content that endangers the most vulnerable is absolutely prohibited: we block it immediately and pass it to law enforcement.

If you are having a hard time

You are not alone. We don’t post sad things here so that everyone can catch their breath, but there are places to turn to. In danger right now? Call 112 (EU, Ukraine) or 911 (US).

Asking for help is a sign of strength. HopeCore is a community, not a replacement for professional help.

Safety we keep together

We believe in democratic safety: a space is safe when everyone looks after it.

What we do about violations

We may act without warning when people’s safety requires it.

How to report

In the app tap Report next to a post, comment, sound or on a profile. You can also Block: that person can no longer message you.

Can’t use the app? Write to us.

We listen to you

HopeCore grows together with you. Send ideas, suggestions and doubts about the rules to support@hopecore.link: we read every message.

For parents and guardians

HopeCore is intended for people aged 13 and over. If you see someone younger using the app, or notice dangerous behavior, write to safety@hopecore.link.

Coming soon to the stores

HopeCore will be available on Google Play and the App Store very soon. We are preparing the app for release.
